Obituary for Agnes Mary Howard
On December 11, 2016, Agnes “Patty” Howard, 86, was welcomed into the Lord’s house by her parents, Russell and Rose Knowles. She died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family in Blue Hill. She was born in Rockwood, Maine, April 16, 1930.
She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved family get-togethers on every holiday. Her favorite activity was going to Bingo with Gordon. She loved getting out and seeing people. Earlier in their marriage they enjoyed camping, fishing and wintering in Florida with friends.
Patty is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Gordon Howard of Blue Hill; sons, Allen Greenacre and wife Joyce, Neil Greenacre and wife Debbie, David Greenacre and wife Karen, Miles Greenacre and wife Cindy, Danny Howard and wife Heidi; daughters, Debbie Howard, Gail Nowak and Rhonda Smith; many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special friends, Randy and Andrea Hastings who were like her own children. She is predeceased by her parents, Rose and Russell Knowles.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the Mountain View Cemetery, Blue Hill.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patty’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 65 S. Park Street, Bangor 04401
