The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carroll Lunt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Dr. Matthew Clark
Condolence: I am saddened to hear of Mr. Lunt's passing. He would not remember me, but I certainly remember losing to him in a high school chess match. It may seem strange that we had only a sort contact almost 40 years ago but I recall him from all others as a gracious and sportsmanlike opponent in his youth. I am confident that this trait was present throughout his life.

Condolence From: Fred Ludwig
Condolence: Seeing Carroll's obituary in today's BDN took me back to my UMO days. Carroll and I started in fall of 1978. I struggled early on in a few classes, but fortunately I sat beside Carroll. We became friends and on several occasions he helped me understand things I couldn't get on my own. God's peace to you, his family and friends, as you mourn his passing.

Condolence From: Lesa Closson
Condolence: My thoughts and prayers to the family. Carroll was a wonderful friend from kindergarten through college. Carroll and I had so many stories and talks when we were younger of what we would become when we grew up. Then our next sentence was we didn't want to grow up. As i sit here with tears and my thoughts of this wonderful man. He was one of the best friends I had through my younger life when friends were very few to me. He was always there for me. As life got in our way we didn't stay in touch, but we always had a warm hug for each other at Gott's. I know Carroll was in pain and now the pain is gone and he is in God's arms. Carroll. I will miss so much. I love you my dear dear friend.
