Condolences

Condolence From: Danielle Woerner
Condolence: Dear Doug, Dugald, and the rest of the family,

I was very much saddened to hear of Liliane's passing. We had just met for the first time at one of the Schooner Gallery exhibits this year--it might have been the student exhibition opening. She was such a lovely, gracious person that I was looking forward to getting better acquainted. My condolences to all of you.

Condolence: I had the good fortune to meet Liliane while working with her on the board of the Grand, and remember well the fantastic work that she and Doug accomplished installing the desperately needed new seats at the Grand. Imagine my surprise running into her in our adopted home in Villefrache sur mer, and finding out that her childhood home was just down the strew from where we live! We enjoyed several convivial times together, both in VSM and Ellsworth. i will miss her.

Condolence: My spouse and I first got to know Liliane and Doug nineteen years ago when we moved from Paris to Hall Quarry. Our "French connection" made us instant friends. Subsequently, we bought two beautiful watercolors from Liliane that today grace our dining room. We both loved Liliane very much, and words cannot express how much we will miss her. Rest in peace, kind lady.

Condolence: I was so saddened when I read about the passing of Liliane, she was a very special lady, she always had a smile on her face. I only knew her through tennis, as we played together many years ago, but every time I would see her, she remembered who I was. So sorry for your family's loss.
