Ellsworth – Hope E. Bunker, 76, died peacefully August 21, 2016 in Ellsworth. She was born in Bar Harbor on February 18, 1940, the daughter of Gerard & Beatrice (Seavey) Noonan.

Hope grew up in Prospect Harbor. She and former husband Wesley, Sr. owned and operated the True Value Hardware store in Ellsworth for many years.

She is survived by her son, Wesley, Jr. and wife Cindy and their son Ryan and daughter Rachel; Timothy and wife Candice and their daughter Emery, all of Ellsworth; and son Edward of California.

A private service will be held at a later date.
