Tony's arrival

Dear Rick and Sallie, Mary Lou went to Parker Ridge Wednesday for her hair cut and inquired about Tony and was saddened to learn of his death. Millie and he were a significant part of my boyhood summer in Brooksville and thru the years we always looked forward their visits at the "Old House". I distinctly remember their first visit. We were having a sing-a-long arount the piano here at Sea Winds and Aunt Miriam brought these two new faces to the party. It was probably the first time I had heard a southern accent. They immediatly fit right in with the festivities. Near the end of the evening Tony, who was in fine form, regaled us all with his rendition of "The old Mountain Dew". After a heavy dose of Stephen Foster it was quite a change! I at 10 or so at the time and had to learn that song and I still can recite every verse. It was the begining of a life long friendship.
