Condolence: I met Mrs. Kemp at 24 years of age when I became the Director of the Himmelreich Library. I have fond memories of Mrs. Kemp as she managed the children's library. Being new to Lewisburg, Mrs. Kemp was welcoming, sweet and made an effort to introduce me to Lewisburg. We lost touch over the years, but I am so grateful that I met Karyn a few years ago who was able to pass along my greetings and best wishes to Mrs. Kemp.

Mrs. Kemp was a great woman. I am sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Susan and Family: We were very sorry to hear about Aunt Louise's passing. I can remember spending time with her and Uncle Paul at their home in Bloomsburg as a young girl. I was told that she traveled to Germany to verify my birth!!! She was a very special person and I know she will be greatly missed. Our prayers go out to all of you. Sincerely, Cathy and Bob McQuown

Condolence: I offer you my thoughts and prayers during the days ahead. Mrs. Kemp was a wonderful lady. She was the beginning force of what is now a beautiful children's area at the Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg, PA. Mrs. Smith one of the employees at the library continued to communicate with Mrs. Kemp when she moved to Maine. She would say that "Louise was always happy to hear about all the things we are doing at the library for the children." She may not have approved of all the hands that touch the books - I don't think they are all clean hands.
I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, grandmother, friend. May you find comfort in the love of your family.
