Francis Jerome "Jerry"  Kelly Jr.
Sedgwick -- Francis “Jerry” Jerome Kelly, Jr., 89, died peacefully on May 29, 2016 at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 10, 1926, in Blissville, Long Island, New York, the son of Francis J. and Anne (George) Kelly Sr.

Jerry served the U.S. Navy Amphibious Corps during World War II in the Pacific and went on to graduate from the University of Bridgeport, CT. with a degree in Economics. Upon graduation he worked for the Department of Interior in Denver, CO and Washington D.C. During his career he was a Princeton Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, attended the National Defense University at Fort McNair, and was posted to the U.S Delegation to the World Trade Organization negotiating tariffs for the U.S. He and his wife Madge McCord Kelly retired in 1982 and moved to Sedgwick. In 2006 he lost his wife of 58 years.

Jerry is survived by his companion of the last 10 years, Jane McCormick; his five children, son, Frank R. Kelly and his wife Nancy of NYC; daughter Maureen Rosetta and husband Leo of Olney, MD; daughter Mary Beth Kelly and husband Bill Walker of Bethesda, MD; son James M. Kelly and wife, Karen of Knoxville, TN; daughter Nancy M. Kelly of Durham, NC; and 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be announced.
