I was very saddened at the news of the passing of Ken (Mucka) Smith. He was an important part of the fabric that is Bar Harbor. I moved back to Bar Harbor a few years ago after decades away. We reconnected, and I was so grateful for his welcoming greeting. In the first months “home” , I took great pleasure in seeing him frequently at Hannaford ‘s , making his way through the store, shopping, but, being stopped in every isle to talk to all his triends.
