Geeze. So, so, many memories to share and all great with Ned. From hearing him yelling about Bobby Cox (outside his window mind you) to sitting there listening to his music, him mocking Mick Mick's cough then him being there for me when I lost my dad even though Auntie Millie had left us just weeks prior. Ned's heart was huge. But I have to say my "fondest" memory was when he was Santa Claus every year on Christmas Eve on Hichborn Street. As a kid THAT moment when Uncle Joe rang the brass bell was the highlight of my year!!!! Not all kids actually saw the real santa but I did. And when I got older and found out Ned was santa? It was as if he and I had a secret.
