Obituary for Ruth Murphy

Ruth Murphy 90, died from a short illness on August 2, 2019 at MDI Hospital. She was born January 26, 1929 in McKinley Maine, the daughter of Charles and Evie (Ott) Gott.
Ruth graduated from Pemetic Highschool in Southwest Harbor. Ruth married Maitland Murphy after High School. She was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1952. Ruth was a loyal member and spent much of her time helping and giving to others.
Ruth is survived by her three sons; Gary Murphy and wife Carol of Bangor. Mark Murphy and wife Laurie of Putnam Connecticut , Charles Murphy and wife Niki of Las Vegas; daughter Angela Murphy of Webster, MA.; 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Maitland Murphy.
