Obituary for Ralph Edward Edgecomb

Mariaville
Ralph Edward Edgecomb, 56, passed away November 17, 2019 after battling many years with heart complications. He spent most of his life in the woods, either at work or hunting and fishing.
He worked many years in the woods delimbing wood for the family business working side by side with his father and brothers. When his father passed away he started Edgecomb Excavation and shortly there after he joined forces with Neil Jordan. Together they founded Countywide Construction which Neil now owns and employ’s Ralph’s son Spenser.
Ralph loved hunting and fishing and some how he managed to always tag a big buck usually the last week of hunting season. He always waited to make sure he got the biggest and best to end the season. East Grand is one of the many ice fishing spots that held many memories. He seemed to be able to catch the biggest fish almost every trip, and would offer to teach you how if you wanted to go with him. Some would call his hunting and fishing lucky, not Ralph, he called it skill.
Ralph lived wanting everyone to believe he was a gruff grumpy man but his love for his family and friends said differently.
He is survived by his loving devoted mother, Margaret Stevenson Edgecomb; his best friend and son Spenser & daughter in law Kimberly of Mariaville, son Jared of Lisbon and son Eric of Charleston, SC.
