Phyllis M. Crockett, 93, died November 16, 2019 at MDI Hospital. She was born May 12, 1926 in Tremont, the daughter of Merle A. and Evelyn (Lunt) Farley.

She attended Tremont Schools and graduated from Pemetic High School in 1945. She married Herbert Crockett in 1973

Phyllis enjoyed bird watching, sewing, gardening, flowers, genealogy and spending time with her family. She was a member of Seasiders 4-H Club, Pythian Sisters Lodge, the VFW and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church since 1953. She worked in sardine factories, Hinckley Boat Yard and retired from the Jackson Laboratory.

She is survived by her nephew, who was more like a son, Ivan Walker and his wife, Narda and their children and grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Best friends, Connie, Marilyn, Dave, Shirley and Paula. She was predeceased by five brothers and her sister.

Private committal services will be held at a later date.
