Obituary for Onalee W. "Bonnie" Hopkins (Warren)
Onalee “Bonnie” W. Hopkins, 86, died April 5, 2019 at her home. She was born July 2, 1932 in Bar Harbor, the daughter if Frank and Neva B. (Grindle) Warren.
Bonnie was a beloved wife and wonderful Mother with a bright smile for everyone. Bonnie is survived by 4 sons; Douglas and wife Janice of Seal Harbor, Paul and wife Debbie of Davie, FL., Lewis, Jr. and Carolyn of Southwest Harbor, Frank and Rebecca of West Tremont; 2 daughters Terry McLaughlin and husband David of Seal Cove, and Kimberly Hopkins of Hollywood, FL; brother Harold “Sonny” Warren of Vinalhaven; 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Lewis, son Vaughn, grandson Christopher, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Special thanks to Bonnie’s excellent caregivers, Sharon Gilley and Linda Gleason. Thanks also to the staff at Northern Light Hospice.
Friends are invited to a visitation 5-7pm, Tuesday April 9, 2019, at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main Street, Mt. Desert where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday April 10, 2019. A graveside service will be scheduled for later in the spring.
