Obituary for Myrna L. Gagne

Myrna L. Gagne, 86, died January 14, 2024. She was born June 24, 1937, in Patten, the daughter of Harold and Alta (Arbo) Noyes. Myrna grew up on the Noyes farm in Hersey Maine.
She was very proud of the fact that at a very young age she was driving a tractor for her father and helping in the potato fields. She attended high school in Island Falls, Maine where she met her lifelong friend Cora Savage. Myrna looked forward to returning to Patten every July right up until July 2023, to attend her high school class reunion and enjoy time with her classmates and with Cora.
Myrna married twice and had 5 children. She lived most of her adult life in Meriden, CT. She worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft with her second husband and retired from there about 25 years ago. Myrna was always known for her hard work ethic and her kind heart. She was loving and caring and always gave herself to her family selflessly and lovingly.
She enjoyed being with, and was proud of, her large family. She loved hosting gatherings of family, friends and neighbors and cooking everyone's favorite dishes. She enjoyed many activities with her friend Jene and loved to tell stories of their fun times together.
She is survived by her second husband of 49 years, Joseph Gagne, and her five children; Terry Perry and wife Michelle, Donalene Lounder and husband Tim, Jay Perry and wife Kathy, Timmy Perry and partner Kelly, Jeremy Gagne and wife Allison and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Myrna was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Fred, and Archie Noyes.
Services will be announced in the spring.
