Sharon, Lloyd, and Elizabeth.

I just learned of Michael’s passing today, and I am in shock. Michael was, a son parents couldn’t be prouder of, Elizabeth’s big brother, my best friend, and my best man. I loved Michael like a brother. The Michael I knew was so straight laced, he never wanted anything to do with something we might get in trouble doing. Michael was my conscience. The Michael I knew was always someone who would help do the heavy lifting, even though he had no reason to. I find myself asking how someone who was so special, so smart, so great, could have such a run of bad things happen to him. It makes me recall the biblical story of Job. I was mowing the path from the backyard up to the apple trees last week, and Mom asked me why I still do that. I told her that I can’t do it without thinking of Michael and Elizabeth. I will continue doing it. I will forever remember Michael fondly. My sincere condolences

Thank you, Levi. Your memories of Michael mean the world to us. He had tremendous misfortune at the end of his life but you and your family made his early years a treasure that he spoke of often.

Williams family I am devastated to learn of Mike's passing. He was a dear friend, one of my closest, throughout high school and college. We went to the junior prom together and worked together at York Hall cafeteria. I am so sorry for your loss and wish you comfort.

Hello Lloyd & Sharon,
The news of Michael's passing caught me by surprise. It was so nice to have Mike walking around the ReStore and helping where he could. I had chances to talk to him often and he always seemed to be able to put a smile in the air. You two made light of the difficulties that were required to monitor his day to day activities, and I know Michael felt the love. I am thinking of his family and hope they are finding a way through the grief. I would visit, but the "virus" makes it ill-advised. God be with you, Dan Rhodes
