Matthew E. Bratzler, 68, died August 21, 2021, in Bar Harbor with his partner and best friend, Nancy by his side. He was born January 8, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA., the son of the late Harry W. and Margaret M. (Abby) Bratzler, Jr.
Matt was a carpenter and loved his motorcycles. He was a member of the Bar Harbor Masonic Lodge #185, A.F. & A.M. and the Anah Shrine of Bangor.
Matt is survived by partner, Nancy L. Sawyer; a sister Rita Ulmer and husband Tom; brother Harry Bratzler and wife Debra. He was predeceased by his brother Mark Bratzler and wife Mary Beth; two sisters Hope Spencer and Marie Devlin.
Graveside services will be held 2 pm, September 11, 2021, Mountain View Cemetery, Town Hill.
