Obituary for Marjorie W. Cough
Marjorie W. Cough, 100, died March 13, 2020 in Bar Harbor surrounded by her family. She was born September 24, 1919 in Otter Creek the daughter of Harvey G. and Vilda (Lurvey) Walls.
Marjorie was an avid reader and loved to dance, she and Vint were beautiful dancers. Marjorie served on the hospital auxiliary for many years,and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Bar Harbor.
Marjorie is survived by 7 sons; Gregory Cough and wife Carla, Timothy Cough and wife Brenda, Dennis Cough, David Cough and wife Linnie, Lawrence Cough and wife Deborah, Matthew Cough and Kevin Cough; 4 daughters; Mary Trella, Elaine Cousins and husband Terrence, Ann McCafferty, Barbara Cough and wife Marilyn Thomas, 27 grandchildren, 37 Great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband L. Vincent Cough; 2 sons, Michael and Peter Cough, 2 brothers, Percy Walls and Harvey Walls Jr. a grandchild Bryce Cough and great grandchild Averi Cough.
Friends are invited to call from 5-7pm, Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main Street, Mt. Desert. Spring services will be announced at a later date. Spring interment was held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery, Bar Harbor on June 20, 2020 at 10am.
