Brewer
Marjorie A. Betts, 80, died April 24, 2013 at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born in Ellsworth, July 28, 1932, the daughter of Robert and Eleanor (Jones) Patton.
Marjorie graduated in1950 from Ellsworth High School. She enjoyed knitting and flowers. She was employed by Diamond International for twenty years and for the Department of Human Services for 24 years.
She is survived by one son, Frank Betts and wife, Pamela of Clinton; grandchildren, Michael Betts and partner, Jessica Swim of Littleton, Tavia Betts of Haverhill, MA; great-granddaughter, Adalaide Betts; two special nieces, Susan Varnum of Verona Island and Sherri Betts of Orrington.
The family extends their sincere appreciation to Westgate Manor and the staff for their excellent care and kindness shown to their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
