Obituary for Marion M. Paine
Ellsworth -- Marion M. Paine, 85, passed away March 13, 2019 at her home. She was born in Bar Harbor, July 01, 1933 the daughter of Earle G. and Mildred G. (Trim) Murphy.
In her early years she enjoyed gardening and canning. She loved doing crossword puzzles, knitting and cooking. Marion worked at Sprague’s Electronics in Sanford for 30 years. After retiring she moved to Ellsworth and worked at Shaw’s until her retirement in 2009.
She is survived by her son, Robert E. Paine; daughter, Helen Hamilton and husband Ted all of Ellsworth; 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 niece. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold M. Paine, Jr; son, Gary W. Paine and wife Joan; and brother, Bill Murphy.
Graveside services will be announced in the spring.
