Marion Flora (Libby) Alley, 86, fell asleep peacefully in the arms of her savior March 1, 2023. She was born November 21, 1936 in East Rochester, NH the daughter of Rev. Albert and Grace Libby.
She was married 59 years to the love of her life, Clifton H. Alley. They had four children, and she prided herself on being a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Her Christian faith was of utmost importance to her. She was involved in many different churches and organizations including Aglow and president of the Bangor Christian Woman’s Fellowship for several years. Her hobbies were sewing, crafting, and gardening. She was an amazing cook and baker. She never missed an opportunity to provide wonderful meals for family and friends. She loved holiday traditions and providing a cozy home for her family. She and her husband loved traveling including four coast to coast RV trips.
She is survived by her son, Stephen and Muriel Alley of Beals, daughter, Patricia Durkee of Brewer, son, Kevin and Ronda Alley of Ormond Beach, FL, son, Donald and Jennifer Alley of Lynchburg, VA; grandchildren, Jason Alley, Sarah Marreel-Alley, Britney Alley, Adrian Durkee and fiancé Jennifer Loula, Meghan Marreel-Alley and husband Abe, Paige Durkee, Cameryn Alley, Ethan Alley, Jack Carter, Roisin White; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Jaxson, Olivia and Jett; many nieces, nephews and special friends; special sisters-in-law, Leona, Donaline and Jeanine
Calling hours will be held June 17, 2023, 12:00-2:00 with service at 2:00 at the Advent Christian Church, Beals Island. Interment will be at Great Wass Cemetery
