Marie F. Parker, 95, died April 25, 2023, at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. She was born January 23, 1928, in Franklin, the daughter of Lloyd E. and Dorothy D. (Hardison) Fernald.
She attended the Franklin schools and graduated from Franklin High School. Marie worked 17 years for the State of Maine as a bookmobile attendant.
Marie is survived by 2 sons: Andrew A. Parker and wife Regina of South Berwick, William D. Parker of Hancock: a daughter Rhonda L. Parker of Ellsworth; a sister Joyce Shoppe of Ellsworth: 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Harold E. Parker on March 4, 2017, and her brother Robert W. Fernald on July 24, 2018.
Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth.
