Condolences

Condolence From: Norman and Arlene Joyce
Condolence: Dear Mrs. Poulin, We are so sorry for your loss. We were just talking about Larry last week. He was a great help to us when we were leaders of our 4H Horse club. That would have been around 1985. Time sure goes by quickly. Our daughter was the reason we became leaders. She has a son who will graduate this year. She was also very fond of Larry. He was a wonderful person, but I'm not telling you something you don't already know. God Bless, Norman & Arlene Joyce

Condolence: Dear Mrs. Poulin and family, I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Poulins passing. I was in the 4-H Horse program and he was just the nicest man! I remember him coming to horse camp at the end of the week, loading us all up and taking us swimming. He always made us feel good about what we were doing and confident we could accomplish whatever we put our minds to. He was just a great person and I feel very lucky to have known him and had him in my life as a child. I send you and your family my deepest condolences for your loss. I will always remember him with the smile that came straight from his heart. All my love, Ginny

Condolence: Dear Grace and family, The Moore family was so sad to hear of Larry's passing. We know without a doubt how much our father and mother, Wayne and Clara, meant to you both as college students in Farmington. It was a lifelong friendship. Myself, Sue, Roger, Brian and Alan will never forget our times together, the older ones when we were kids, and Brian and Alan in later years. We will never forget the salute given to our Dad when he passed by Larry and his honor guard. What a wonderful man. Such a gentle soul and I know a wonderful father and husband. And, he was such a generous man to his community and church. We love you and will miss him. Vicki

Condolence: Having met Mr. Poulin at his son's house, I realized that a wonderful man makes wonderful kids. Keith has been a great friend of mine since he moved into Belchertown and he is a perfect example of what happens when you come from phenomenal parents. I wish Mrs. Poulin the best and I will keep the Poulin family in my prayers. My life is much better because of the Poulin family.

Condolence: Dear Grace, Keith, and Family, We hope your sorrow at Larry's passing is made a bit less difficult by knowing that he made great use of his 88 years on this earth. We are humbled after reading about all his accomplishments. He truly made a difference in his community and in the way he and Grace raised their children. We will always remember the passion Larry had when he discussed University of Maine Black Bear hockey. I think he attended games until just a few years ago and always kept up on the current coach and players. He will be missed and may he have a peaceful rest.

Condolence: Larry was one of the warmest and kindest men I have ever met. His enthusiasm for life was contagious and he touched any one who came in contact with him. He will be missed, but his legacy lives on through many of his family members who live a similarly kind and unselfish life.

Condolence: Larry and Grace have been wonderful to me as their son-in-law. Their daughter Teresa loved them very much. I know her loss was very difficult for their family as it has been for me. Larry has been an outstanding husband, father, and community leader! Larry told me once that he thought it was his responsibility to do what he could for the people of the Ellsworth area. I think he did far more then his share. It has been an honor for me to be part of this family! My prayers are with them all at this time. Larry told me two weeks ago how much he loved his life. Thank you Larry for letting me to be a part of your life!

Condolence: Dear Grace and Family Members: I am so sad for your loss of such a GREAT husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather! Larry was a very SPECIAL person who genuinely cared about everyone he came into contact with. Larry had that "special ability" to make even strangers feel comfortable and at ease. During my years growing up in Ellsworth as a teen and young adult, it was Grace and Larry who unconditionally accepted me as an "adopted" child. It was Larry who gave me my first opportunity to work as a counselor at his special needs camp. I will be forever grateful to Grace and Larry (as well as to their children) for all their support and kindness they showed me when I didn't really have a family to call my own! Ellsworth has truly lost a "one of a kind" man! God Bless and peace to family and friends.

Condolence: Dear Grace and Family, Larry was clearly put here to make a difference in so many lives and that he did...with love, compassion and kindness. He was the kind of man that each man should emulate. He was just one of those real rare kind of guys. The void he leaves behind could never be filled. My heart aches for the pain in yours. No doubt he has already been welcomed into the Kingdom with opened wings.
