Karyl W. Eaton, 76, passed away June 19, 2019 in Deer Isle.
She was born in South Deer Isle, October 28, 1942 the daughter of John E. and Beryl (Morey) Powers.
Karyl graduated from Deer Isle High School. Karyl loved nature, gardening, clamming and was known for her pies and independent spirit.
Karyl is survived by daughter Jill Kofton and her husband David of Deer Isle; her son, John Eaton and his wife Karen of Stonington; her sisters, Cheryl Robinson, Linda Gross, Annette Wheaton and Barbara Hutchinson; her brother, David Powers, and her beloved grandchildren, Bryant William Lee Powers, Kaley Sue Eaton, and Wyatt John Eaton. She is predeceased by her husband, Everett Eaton; sisters Ethelda (Teddy) Eaton, Brenda Billings, and Dale Robbins.
A graveside service will be held 1:00pm, June 24, 2019 at Gray’s Cemetery, Little Deer Isle.
