Obituary for John B. Rogers II

John Barrie Rogers, II, 47, died December 28, 2006 at his residence in Eastbrook. He was born in Bar Harbor, June 25, 1959 the son of John B. and Mary (Skofield) Rogers. He will be remembered in the community for his work in parts and service at Dow Motors and Stanley Subaru. John enjoyed the outdoors and was a Master Maine Guide. He owned and operated Downeast Outfitters. He was a member of the Lygonia Masonic Lodge #40, A.F. & A.M.; Anah Shrine and the Bucksmill Rod & Gun Club. He is survived by his wife Alexis (Kinney) Rogers of Eastbrook; two daughters, Jamie Cotnoir and husband Nate of Hampden; Meagan Rogers of Ellsworth; his mother, Mary L. Maddocks of Ellsworth: brother, Jeff Rogers and wife Karen of Eastbrook; sister, Julie Dorrity and husband Bill of Winterport; 19 nieces and nephews and his special dog, Russell. He was predeceased by his father, John B. Rogers.
