Family was very important to Joanne and she adored her 2 grandsons, granddaughter and great - grand daughter. She was very proud of her French Canadian heritage as her parents were both from New Brunswick, Canada.
Joanne worked in the finance department of the town of Bar Harbor for about 40 years and was fond of her interactions with members of the community as well as her co-workers.
For many years she enjoyed her morning walks around town and meeting the “ladies” at Jordan’s Restaurant for breakfast before work.
She valued time spent with her oldest daughter and grandsons when they were young.
