Henry W. Sanchez, 96, died unexpectedly July 10, 2022, at his home in Trenton surrounded by his loving grandchildren and friends. He was born October 15, 1925 in Santiago, CA, the son of Alberto and Tomasa Sanchez.
Henry was the original owner of Dunkin Donuts in Ellsworth where he worked very hard growing his business for 25 years. After he retired, he moved to the home he built for his beloved wife Jacqueline in Nosara, Costa Rica where they enjoyed their retirement. Henry was an avid sailor. He enjoyed going on trips with his good friend, Ivan, and enjoyed spending summers in Eastport with Jackie in her family home.
He is survived by his three loving grandchildren, Zach Sanchez and wife Katie, Madison Sanchez and Molly Sanchez; sister, Olga and loving caregiver and friend, Sharon O’Halloran. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Jacqueline; son, Bryan; daughter, Cindy; and son Mark.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 at 11:00am, at the Hillside Cemetery, High Street, Eastport 00431
