Helen C. Evans passed away peacefully in her home on August 1, 2019. She was born in Atlanta, GA, September 05, 1941 the daughter of James Alvin and Mary C. (Cole) Queen
Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She received awards and was published many times for her beautiful poetry. She was a beautiful strong woman who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She loved hard and lived life to the fullest and will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
She is survived by son, Mark Consalvo and his wife Debbie; daughter, Julie Payne; sister, Catherine Payne; brother, Jim Queen; and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Robert Evans and daughter Suzanne Gallant.
