Gary H. Wakefield, 60, died unexpectedly October 22, 2020 at home in Otter Creek. He was born November 29, 1959 in Rhode Island, the son of Herbert S. Wakefield and Avis M. Wakefield.
Gary graduated from Ellsworth High School, class of 1979. For the next 41 years he worked 3 long term jobs. The last 10 years being at the Jackson Laboratory. Gary made many friends over the years and has touched many lives, as much as you touched his life.
Gary is survived by his daughter Rebecca Wakefield of Merrill, Maine. Gary had many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Gary was predeceased by his sister Janice M. Lawson and his parents.
Upon his request there will be no service. Remember him for the fun-loving man he was. That would be his greatest wish.
