Elizabeth Agnes (Peterson) Austin, 54, passed away in the early morning hours of October 21, 2019 after a long and courageous battle. She was born December 17, 1964.
Elizabeth was a talented artist and a hard worker her whole life. Her fiery red hair was a perfect match for her spitfire personality and her infectious grin will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her partner of many years, Dean Murphy; son, Ryan Miller of Ellsworth; daughter, Gretchen Austin and husband Malachi of Lamoine; grandchildren, Alexis, Zeke, Mya, Izak, Lilith and Tannor; siblings, Blaine Hall of Westbrook, Melissa Hall of Town Hill, Keith Peterson and wife Rose of W. Tremont, Chris Peterson and wife Vanessa of Seal Cove and Maryellen Closson and husband Richard of Spartanburg, SC. She held a special place in her heart for her support team, which also included her beloved pup, Ruby, and her “bestie” Sarah (Scultz). She was predeceased by her mother, Yvonne (Butler) Black; brother, Robert A. Hall.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring.
