Cheri Weston: My deepest condolences, and love to all your family. I feel so very blessed to have met this awesome guy. I never saw a brighter smile or felt a warmer hug than those that came from Doug! He radiated pure joy! May all those moments he gave us keep shinning in our lives because he was a true angel on earth, and now is back in the realm of of God.
My love, my prayers and my thoughts are with you all.

When I think of Doug, I think of one who brought us joy, made us laugh, and shown us love. I will always treasure our trips to Bucksport where we would share thoughts, find answers to questions, and best of all have ice cream shakes. Douglas left a legacy of how to see beauty in life and thus blessed our memories forever. Love you my friend, and may you now enjoy a new beginning free of seizures and illness. May God bless and comfort your wonderful parents and brother. Janet and Dale

From Cousin Dawn: "My sweet big cousin Dougie. I miss you already. I will always treasure our conversations. You would always end them by saying that you loved me and I was beautiful and pretty. I would tell you the same and you would say " why thank you". You are our Guardian Angel now. Comfort your mom, dad, and brother. Surround us with your love and beautiful smile in our hearts. I love you cuz ❤"

Oh my big cousin Dougie, I will miss you. I always loved when he ended our conversations by telling me he loved me and that I was beautiful. I would tell him the same and he would say "why thank you". I miss you so much already. You have been a huge part of my life down here, now you get to be my guardian angel. Keep the hugs coming to comfort us and your mom, dad, and brother. I love you then, now, and forever.❤
