Doris A. Walters, 87, died November 15, 2016 at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born March 27, 1929 in Reading, PA., the daughter of Arthur H. and Almeda E. (Barnes) Reppert Sr.

Doris was a self taught artist, who did landscapes, seascapes and religious icons. she enjoyed playing and performing on the Celtic Harp for many years and loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ray Walters of Bar Harbor, children, Joseph and wife, Deni and Judith Foster and Husband Mark, grandchildren; Nicole, D.J., Michael and eight great-grandchildren and her brother, Arthur Reppert. Doris was predeceased by her parents and two sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 21 Ledgelawn Ave., Bar Harbor.
