Obituary for Dawn L. Donovan

Franklin

Dawn Donovan, beloved mother, sister, aunt, friend, passed away suddenly after the new year from Covid-19 complications.

Dawn lived a life of service to others. She was ultimately devoted to her 3 sons & grandchildren. In her professional career as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist, she absorbed and took on others emotional pain. She tried to help all humans through their emotional dilemmas and was always fair in her treatment of others. No one could ever come forward to say that she treated them badly or was inhumane. In contrast, others often treated Dawn unfairly & with contempt, which she endured. Her charisma & intellect elevated her above others and jealousy raised its ugly head. Her faith in God and Jesus Christ guided her thru the trials. She still loved all and never deserved the treatment she was subjected to, from those closest to her.

Dawn was a shining light, with sharp wit, ironic humor & snappy answers. Dawn was quick to giggle & find the humor in many situations. Her ice blue eyes would twinkle with the joy of a joke.

Dawn is sorely missed by those that actually loved her. Her legacy will live on in those whose lives she touched with her guidance, love and understanding.
Dawn was welcomed to eternal peace by her mother Janet, beloved brothers Leo and Sam, and sister Sandra.

Dawn will be honored and remembered with a service this spring and brought to her final resting place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery to be with her family.
