Claire B. Getchell, 71, passed away July 27, 2019 at her home. She was born in Stoughton, MA, August 12, 1947 the daughter of Bernard and Catherine Barrett) Cassidy.
She graduated from Stoughton High School. Claire worked at Jackson Lab in health research as a lab tech for 10 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Ellsworth
She is survived by her husband, Harold O Getchell, Jr. of 53 years; sons, Mark H. Getchell of Worcester, MA, Dana B. Getchell of Onset, MA; brother, Brian Cassidy and wife Jean of Bridgewater, MA; sisters-in-law, Pauline C. Farley of Bernard and Barbara of Mattapoisett, MA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, August 6th at Hillrest Cemetery, W. Tremont.
