I have lived next to the Applebees for the past forty years. I will miss looking up and waving to Norma as we both headed out to work. My thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers, for comfort and peace, are with the entire family. Norma cared for my children when they were small- and when we would meet- always 'caught up" on what all of our children were doing. Deepest sympathies.

I am so sorry for the passing of Norma.. Me like my mother grew up next to the Applebees and enjoyed every second of it. From the rides in the station wagon, walks to Cranes Market or Just hanging out on the back steps. She will be sadly missed but, take comfort that she, Cathy, Michael and Dana are all together and smiling down..

I met Norma in college, and we became very good friends during that time. She was a very special individual with a heart of gold. I lost contact with her many years ago, but always remembered her with the fondest memories. My deepest condolences to her family.

There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe the love my mother had for life. My mother loved everyone who came into her life. She ensured all us kids had everything we needed. The hungery got feed, the boo boos got band-aids,and the homeless had a place to stay. My mother truely was an angel. Mom I will miss calling you when I didnt have the answer. I will miss not seeing you at family gatherings. I will miss the many sunday rides as a family, I will miss going to branch pond swimming( packing the station wagon full of all of the neighbors and heading down the dirt road.) MOM I LOVE YOU. Thank you for giving me life. Thank you for being the best mom ever......

Words, can't begin to express what Norma meant to me. She was a GREAT role model for her children. Her Grandchildren loved her so much. When the going got tough, Norma was there to bring a smile to your face. She worked very hard for many years at Wal-mart. Her children and grandchildren have ALWAYS been a blessing to me.
I KNOW she is talking about monkey's with Dana and hugging Cathy. She will be missed by many. Her memories have impacted me as a person.

Dear Applebee Family,
I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) He has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) With deepest sympathy,

I was heartbroken to learn yesterday of Norma's passing. I serviced the WalMart as a merchandiser for 15+ years and seeing Norma was always a highlight of my trips to Ellsworth WalMart. We shared many conversations regarding family, life, beliefs. No matter the level of her stress she always had a smile and a positive attitude. I was very fond of her and will miss her. My condolences to her lovely family.
