Gordon J. Ward, 47, died, July 17, 2010 in MA. He was born January 14, 1963 in Bar Harbor, the son of Franklin Henry and Driscilla L. (Gott) Ward.
He was a graduate of MDI High School in 1981 and the University of New Hampshire and he attended Brandis University and received his masters degree from Boston University.
Gordon worked as a PCA and at various libraries in New England.
Gordons greatest joy was composing and teaching private music lessons.
He is survived by his mother, Driscilla Ward of Southwest Harbor. His devoted friend, Katharin Taylor. Two brothers, William Ward of Dexter and Martin Ward and wife, Donna of Rockport. He is also survived by his Aunt Ingrid Wormell, his Uncle Les Ward and several nieces and nephews.
Gordon was predeceased by his father, Henry Ward and his brother, Rodney Ward.
Graveside services will be held, 2:00PM, Friday, July 30, 2010 at Mt. Height Cemetery, Southwest Harbor, with Rev. Wayne Buchanan officiating.
