Vaughn S. Grindle

Vaughn S. Grindle, 65, died at his residence in Brooksville October 23, 2009. He was born in Castine, December 03, 1943 the son of Lloyd S. and Katherine L. (Gray) Grindle.

He attended school in Brooksville and graduated from George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill in 1962. Vaughn worked as a master plumber for many years. He enjoyed lobstering and many outdoor sports with his special canine friend Charlie.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Grindle and fiancé Alicia; his grandson, Cameron; Kyle’s mother, Susan Silva all of Easton, MA; sister, Sandra Clapp and husband Peter of Blue Hill; brother, Wayne Grindle and wife Edna of Brooksville and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Kacy on August 11, 2001.

Graveside Services will be announced at a later date.
