Ellsworth:
Jordan-Fernald,
located at 113 Franklin Street in Ellsworth, was purchased from
the Jordan family in 1980. The original facility, built
in 1942, was renovated in 2003 but still retains all of its old
character.
A
large
new chapel for services that seats 150 people was completed
in 2003. The new wing has a separate area for private or family
seating. Adjacent rooms are used for receptions, with a kitchen
for food preparation. The facility has central air conditioning.
The selection rooms for both earth burial and cremation service
offer a welcoming atmosphere along with a wide variety of
options for families.
