Waltham -- Nina Danielle Wallace, 34, died unexpectedly August 26, 2018 in Franklin. She was born July 18, 1984 in Blue Hill the daughter of Daniel and Bonnie (Wallace) McGregor.

Nina spent most of her childhood on Mount Desert Island. She loved to play outside with her brother and sisters. It was important for her to keep up with the older brothers, fishing, hiking, and swimming, catching frogs or karate. They spent summers at Camp Beach Cliff and summer vacations at Molasses Pond in Eastbrook. Both places were very special to Nina.

Nina had a fire for life and a strong independent spirit. Honesty and loyalty were very important to her. You were blessed to have her call you friend. She was a wonderful big sister one her little sisters could lean on. Nina’s pets were the center of her life.

Nina is survived by her parents, Bonnie MacGregor and Dale of Eastport; step-father Richard Kelley of Hulls Cove; siblings, Jeremy Campbell of GA, Brent Hammond of Eastbrook, Ryan Kelley and Noelle of Herman, Rick Kelley and Lacey of Southwest Harbor, Joshua Wallace of Hancock, Dezarae Kelley of Eastport, Roxanna MacGregor of Eastport; nieces, Rowan and Remi Kelley, Evelyn and Pyper Kelley; nephews,Will Kelley and Haven Daniel Wallace; boyfriend Patrick Jordan of Waltham; Aunt, Victoria Kief and Uncle Stuart Wallace and Patti; special childhood friend, Stephany Buzzell; and many, many friends. She was predeceased by her father, Daniel Wallace of Franklin.

A service of Remembrance will be held, 2pm, Saturday Sept. 15, 2018 at Sullivan Harbor Baptist Church, 34 Harbor View Drive, Sullivan, ME. A time of fellowship will be held 3 pm, Sunday Sept. 16, 2018 at the Franklin Veterans Club, Cards Crossing, Franklin.

Those who desire may make contributions in Nina’s memory to the Sullivan Harbor Baptist Church, 34 Harborview Drive, Sullivan 04664 to send a young person to summer camp.
