Kittery -- Gail Frances Durost, 80, died April 28, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 2, 1937 in Attleboro, MA the daughter of Augustus F. and Elsie (Bowley) Deaver.

Gail attended schools in Attleboro, MA and Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Attleboro High School in 1955. Gail attended classes in National Museum of Art in Kansas City and Dominican College in Bauvelt, New York. She was a devoted Christian and had a prayer ministry for many years. She blessed the lives of all who truly knew her. We rejoice with her now that she is with the Jesus she loved.

Gail is survived by her husband Robert R. Durost: two sons, Mathew K. Connell of Brookline, Massachussetts and Paul A. Connell, of Eliot, Maine. Four step children and spouses, Autumn and Bruce Bridges of Lebanon, Maine, Linda Erpenbeck of Wells, Maine, Robert T. Durost of Hollis Center, Maine, Jonathan D. and Kristen Durost of Wells, Maine: a foster son Anthony Brown of Georgia. All were loved as her own. Sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Gail was predeceased by three sisters, Geraldine Cosgrove, Constance Quilitzsch, and Shirley Healey.

A celebration of life will be held from 6-8pm. Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Meeting House Chapel, 143 Rogers Road, Kittery. A summer burial will be held at Brookside Cemetery, Mt. Desert.
