Obituary for Timothy James Sheehan
Franklin, Maine -- Timothy James Sheehan, 58 of Franklin, Maine, formerly of Saugus, Massachusetts, died unexpectedly at home on February 1, 2018. He was born January 19, 1960 in Saugus, MA, the son of Barbara R. (Lewis) Tadiello and Thomas F. Sheehan.
He graduated from Saugus High School in 1978. Timothy, an avid woodsman, loved the North Country where he settled after youthful searches, the ideals of survival in the deep woods attracted by his love for poetry in the life that abounded about him. He dearly loved his children, reading to them, introducing them to nature and the arts which fascinated him in his leisure. It has been said of him; “Oh, just as the boyish smile breaks, just as his hand reaches to help, to give, to touch who wants to touch.” His aims will be carried on by others.
Timothy is survived by his mother and father; his children, Jasper and Irish Sheehan, of Franklin, ME, Kevin Cook and his wife Amy and Jennifer Cook and her fiancé Tim Ahern, all of Ellsworth; the mother of his children, Jacqueline Hamor; 3 grandchildren who referred to him as Bumpy, Alena, Serenity and Lillian, all of Ellsworth, ME; his siblings, Laurie Sheehan of Beverly, MA, Matthew Sheehan and his wife Tricia of Winston-Salem, NC, Elizabeth Sheehan and James Sheehan both of Saugus, MA; he was uncle of William Sheehan , Michael Burridge , Alexa, Robert and Travis Pagliarulo, Cavan, Grady and Riley Sheehan; his aunts, Patricia Stickney, Mary Gaudet, Barbara Lovett and Helen Parent. Timothy was predeceased by his brother, Thomas F. Sheehan, Jr.; stepmother, Elizabeth Sheehan and stepfather, Lino Tadiello; and grandparents, George and Laura Lewis, James and Helen Sheehan.
Friends are invited to call 4-6pm, Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, ME.
