Ruberta Evelyn Becker, 74, died July 22, 2017 at an Ellsworth healthcare facility. She was born December 14, 1942 in Fort Devens, MA the daughter of Charles Alfred and Marjorie Frances (Carter) Richard.

Ruberta made her home in Lamoine for 52 years with her husband, Ronald G. Becker. Ruberta loved to knit and sew and enjoyed gardening as well. She was also member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ellsworth.

Ruberta is survived by 3 sons, Phillip Becker and partner Donna of Standish, Ronald Becker and wife Renee of Lamoine and Michael Becker and wife Christine of Sullivan; 2 daughters, Mary Leighton and husband Lawrence of Dover Foxcroft and Linda Gonyer and husband Chris of Penobscot; a brother, Robert Richard and wife Lee of Waltham; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Ruberta was predeceased by her husband Ronald in 2011 and by a brother Karl Richard.

All with heavy hearts , Ruberta’s journey has now begun, once again with her husband rejoicing in heaven with all past family members. May God bless them all. Dance on Mom and Dad with love!

Graveside services will be held 10 am, Sat. August 5, 2017 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lamoine.

Contributions in Ruberta’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
