Alden A. Gray, 58, died unexpectedly on November 29, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 20, 1958 the son of Frank and Evelyn (Kelley) Gray Sr.

Alden graduated from MDI High School in 1976. He married Margaret C. Nason in 1979. Alden was a diesel mechanic for a number of boat yards on the island. He served as a selectman and code enforcement officer for the town of Tremont and served on several committees.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Margaret, daughter, Keagan Gray and husband, Lee, two grandchildren; Aurora and Sebastian, brother, Frank Gray Jr., father, Frank Gray Sr. and wife, Ada. Alden was predeceased by his mother, Evelyn.

Memorial services will be held 1:00PM, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Ellsworth.
