Our Staff

Robert B. Fernald is a licensed Maine funeral director and co-owner; he joined the firm in 1955.  He currently serves as the treasurer and financial planner for Jordan-Fernald. He is involved in many community organizations, including the Lions Club, all Masonic Bodies, the Anah Shrine, the Royal Order of Jesters and the Somes-Meynell Wildlife Sanctuary.  He is a member of St. Mary & St. Jude Episcopal Church in Northeast Harbor and in Seal Harbor.  Robert enjoys cemetery history and spending time with his family.

 

William C. Fernald is a licensed Maine funeral director and co-owner; he joined the firm in 1961. Bill is skilled in meeting and working with families and takes great pride in providing them with the comfort and care they need at the time of a loss. He is a member of the Lions Club, all Masonic Bodies and the Anah Shrine. Bill’s hobbies include boating and snowmobiling.

 

Thomas J. Fernald is a licensed Maine funeral director and co-owner; he joined the firm in 1967. Thomas takes great pride in the care and support of our families during their bereavement and times of loss. He is active in several community organizations, including the Lions International Club (Forty Year Member), all Masonic Bodies, Anah Shrine, the Royal Order of Jesters, the Order of the Eastern Star and a Trustee of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth. He also is a member of the UCC Somesville Meeting House of Mount Desert. Thomas enjoys landscaping, skiing and boating.

 

Lauri E. Fernald is a licensed Maine funeral director and co-owner; she joined the firm in 1988. She enjoys working with families and assisting them with pre-arrangements. Lauri is very active on a variety of boards of community organizations. She currently serves on the board of Hospice of Hancock County where she works as a bereavement facilitator and assists with volunteer training. Lauri is also on the board of the Hospice Regatta of Maine, the Abbe Museum and a director at the Bar Harbor Bank and Trust. She is a member of St. Mary & St. Jude Episcopal Church in Northeast Harbor and Seal Harbor. Lauri enjoys playing tennis, living near the ocean and traveling.
